Whoops! Guitarist We Came As Romance Becomes Victim Of Robbery During Australian Tour
JAKARTA - We Came As Romans guitarist Joshua Moore was the victim of a robbery during his band's Australian tour this week.
As reported by Australia's 7 News, the band appeared in the city of Adelaide, South Australia, on Tuesday night, August 29, starting their first Australian tour in eight years with a show at Lion Arts Factory in the city.
However, on Wednesday morning, a 37-year-old man followed Moore to his hotel room at the Oaks Embassy and locked him out of the room.
After locking the room, the man tried to steal some of Moore's belongings, including his passport.
When the hotel manager opened the door using a bolt cutting, the thief jumped out of the bedroom window and fell five floors below.
The man not only survived the crash, but was also conscious and called emergency services when he was met by local traders.
He was then taken away by ambulance and treated for his injuries, which are believed to be severe given the process of the crash.
The band then shared the news of the incident on their social media accounts.
