Tangerang City Government Will Apply Odd-Even On Four Roads
TANGERANG Based on the results of discussions from the Transportation Service (Dishub) to the police, the Tangerang City Government (Pemkot) plans to implement a Ganjil-Genap (Gage) policy. This is known.
The Mayor of Tangerang, Arief R Wismansyah, said that there are a number of roads that are planned to be implemented odd-even to relieve congestion and the use of private vehicles.
"The plan to implement the main road section bordering DKI Jakarta, namely Daan Mogot, Hos Cokroaminoto, Raden Saleh and the Tangerang Toll entrance to Jakarta," said Arief in his statement, Wednesday, August 30.
Nevertheless, Arief continued, its implementation is still constrained by roads that enter the DKI area that have not been designated as odd-even areas. Therefore, his party still has to coordinate with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government regarding the implementation of the policy.
"It is still constrained that even roads that enter the DKI area have not been designated as mandatory Gage roads. The next road segment determination will be coordinated with DKI Jakarta," he said.
In addition, regarding the implementation of the odd-even implementation, we are still waiting for technical instructions (juknis) from related parties, such as the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub), the Jabodetabek Transportation Management Agency (BPTJ), to the Banten Provincial Government.
"Still waiting for official technical guidelines from the Ministry of Transportation/BPTJ or the Province regarding the plan to expand Gage in the Tangerang Raya agglomeration area," he concluded.
