Not Only On Mobile, Netflix Games Can Now Play On TV And PC
JAKARTA - Netflix has finally created a game that was originally only for mobile, now can be played on every TV and Personal Computer (PC) device.
"Our goal is to always have games for everyone, and we are working hard to meet with members where they are with accessible, smooth and ubiquitous services," Netflix VP Game Mike Verdu said in his official statement, quoted Tuesday, August 15.
This new feature has not been rolled out globally, Netflix is still conducting limited beta tests for a small number of their customers in Canada and the United Kingdom on select TV brands starting today.
On PCs and Macs can try it in the next few weeks. Verdu said this limited beta is intended to test the company's gaming streaming technology and controllers and to improve member experience over time.
Verdu explained, the two games will be part of this initial test. As for the game, Oxenfree from Night School Studio, Netflix Game Studio and Menhihew's Mining Adventure is a gem mining game.

"To play our games on TV, we introduce controllers that are almost always in our hands, our phones. Members on PC and Mac can play on Netflix.com with keyboards and mice," said Verdu.
"By providing games on more devices, we hope to make games easier to play for our members around the world."
In addition, Verdu hopes to hear feedback from beta testers to make features better going forward.
Games on TV will operate on certain devices from Netflix's early partners, including Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast with Google TV, LG TV, Nvidia Shield TV, Roku devices and TV, Samsung Smart TV, and Walmart ONN.
