Men And Women Died In Cars In Banda Aceh Due To Toxic Gas

BANDA ACEH - Satreskrim Polresta Banda Aceh stated that the cause of death of a man and a woman found in a car at a workshop in the Soekarno Hatta Street area, Banda Aceh, was suspected to have inhaled toxic gas from a burning car.

"The doctor said that there were allegations of inhaling toxic air/gas that emerged from the car on," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Banda Aceh Police, Kompol Fadillah Aditya Pratama, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 8.

Fadillah said that the toxic air or gas appeared due to the car being continuously lit with air condition air condition on, doors and closed glass.

Previously, the Banda Aceh Police Satreskrim investigated the findings of a pair of bodies of men and women in a car at a workshop in the Soekarno Hatta road area, Banda Raya District, Banda Aceh City, Monday (7/8).

The male victim with the initials ZF (22) from Aceh Besar Regency and a woman with the initials WMP (24) from Banda Aceh. They were found dead in a Lexus car.

After being found, the two bodies were evacuated by PMI to be taken to the Zainoel Abidin Regional General Hospital (RSUDZA) Banda Aceh.

The two victims were finally evacuated to RSUDZA Banda Aceh for an external post-mortem. And further examination was carried out to determine the cause of the victim's death.

Fadillah said that the family of the two victims did not question this again, or had accepted the disaster, and also refused an autopsy.

"Certainly the victim's family has no problem with returning, and each family refuses to do an autopsy," said Kompol Fadillah.
