Al Ittihad Seduces IDR 3 Trillion In Payment, Mohamed Salah Is Not Tempted
JAKARTA - Mohamed Salah reportedly received a lucrative offer from the Saudi Arabian club. Al Ittihad is said to want to bring the Liverpool player.
Al Ittihad is even willing to spend deeply to bring the Egyptian player.
According to The Guardian's report, Al Ittihad offered a two-year contract worth £ 155 million (around IDR 3 trillion). In addition, Al Ittihad is also willing to redeem Salah for a transfer fee of £ 60 million (around Rp1.14 trillion).
However, Al Ittihad must be prepared to bite his finger. Mohamed Salah's agent confirmed that his client would not leave Liverpool amid rumors of interest from the Saudi Arabian club.
"If we consider leaving the LFC this year, we will not renew our contract last summer", said Ramy Abbas Issa on his Twitter account.
"Mohamed remains committed to LFC", he said, as reported by Antara.
Mohamed Salah is still under contract with Liverpool until 2025. The 31-year-old just extended his contract at Liverpool last year.
The Egyptian has scored 186 goals in 305 games since joining AS Roma in 2017. Together with the Reds, he has won Champions League trophies, English Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup.
