However, six minutes later Kashima managed to equalize to 2-2. The Indonesian goal conceded due to Koji Oyama's header maximizing a corner.
The victory for Kashima was then determined in the 87th minute. The position changed to 3-2 after Koji Oyama again listed his name on the scoreboard.
This trial is a series of preparations for the U-17 Indonesian national team to face the 2023 World Cup. The event will take place in Indonesia from 10 November to 2 December.
Indonesia was officially chosen to host after Peru was unable to become the organizer. However, so far it has not been confirmed which stadiums will be used to hold the event.
After practicing matches in Bali, the U-17 national team is scheduled to leave for Germany from September to October 2023. This is the peak of the preparations for the Garuda Asia squad ahead of the 2023 U-17 World Cup.
