Somerville Adventure Game Coming Soon To PS4 And PS5 Late August

JAKARTA - After being released exclusively for Xbox consoles late last year, developer Jumpship announced that its game, Somerville will also launch on PS4 and PS5 on August 31.

"We are very pleased to announce that Somerville will be attending the Playstation on August 31, 2023," the independent game studio wrote in its announcement on X (former Twitter).

The game, which was co-developed and jointly published by Jumpship and Thunderful, is an adventure genre game that revolves around a wordless fairy tale and a puzzle-focused gameplay.

Furthermore, according to his statement, this game will tell about events after the alien invasion disaster. There, you have to start a journey to find the whereabouts of your family by solving the existing puzzles.

"After the disaster, you have to find a way to make your family whole again. Somerville is Sci-Fi's adventure that is based on the intimate impact of large-scale conflicts," wrote the game's caption.

"Live through the private struggles of separated young families at the last moment of the global conflict against hostile alien civilizations. Find the immediate full impact on others from this catastrophic event," the statement added.

In addition, this version of PlayStation will also include all updates and improvements that have been made since the game launched on PC and Xbox in November 2022.

Not to forget, the Jumpship developer will also include support for DualSense's haptic and lightbar feedback that is typical of players on PlayStation 5.
