Cooperating With KPK And LPSK, Pupuk Indonesia Strengthens Whistleblowing System
JAKARTA - PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) strengthens cooperation with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) in the Anti-fraud Commitment in the Pupuk Indonesia Group. This collaboration was realized through launching the Whistleblowing System (WBS) Multi Company Application, at the Head Office of Pupuk Indonesia, Jakarta, Wednesday 2 August.
President Director of Pupuk Indonesia, Rahmad Pribadi explained that WBS is a medium for stakeholders in reporting complaints of alleged Pupuk Indonesia Group fraud, especially complaints of corruption. In this latest application, WBS Pupuk Indonesia has been integrated with the KPK.
In addition, Pupuk Indonesia is also committed to providing protection for whistleblowers and all related parties in handling complaints of alleged fraud, through the implementation of cooperation with the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK).
"Pupuk Indonesia is currently undergoing business transformation. For this reason, Pupuk Indonesia is committed to carrying out business transformation based on good corporate governance principles and upholding anti-fraud integrity and culture. Currently we already have WBS and now we are more advanced because it is integrated with the KPK, this will certainly increase the credibility of anti-fraud management in Pupuk Indonesia Group, because WBS is an important component of controlling or preventing fraud," said Rahmad.
Meanwhile, on the same occasion, Pupuk Indonesia signed a cooperation agreement addendum with the KPK, as well as a memorandum of understanding with LPSK. In addition, an anti-fraud commitment was also signed in the Pupuk Indonesia Group environment, to strengthen anti-fraud culture and can serve as a guide for all Indonesian Pupuk Groups.
Rahmad further explained that the strategic steps that have been taken by Pupuk Indonesia Group in handling fraud are to uphold the values of AKHLAK (Amanah, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive and Collaborative), Fraud Control System Development, Implementation of Anti-Bribery Management System SNI ISO 37001:2016, Implementation of ISO Compliance Management System 37301:2021.
He also added that Pupuk Indonesia Group has implemented SNI ISO 32000:2018 Risk Management: Gratification Control, Whistleblowing Management System ISO 37002-2021, Control of Conflicts of Interest, and Reporting of Official Wealth (LHKPN).
"Hopefully with what we implement, Pupuk Indonesia can carry out the mandate given by the state to support national food security, the main support for national food security and we can carry out other tasks given according to the targets given," said Rahmad.

For this reason, as an effort to increase commitment and understanding of anti-fraud culture within the company, Pupuk Indonesia Group consistently implements the Internalization of anti-fraud Culture. One of them is through a workshop entitled "Strengthening Culture and Commitment to Anti-Fraud Pupuk Indonesia Group" by presenting two speakers from BPKP and the KPK. The speakers from BPKP conveyed the model and impact of fraud actions in BUMN environment. The material is based on data on fraud cases handled by BPKP from the BUMN environment. Meanwhile, researchers from the KPK speak about the tangible form of active participation of Insan Perusahaan in controlling and preventing fraud in Pupuk Indonesia Group.
"This collaboration program with the KPK and LPSK, is an implementation of the AKHLAK value set in the Pupuk Indonesia Group body," concluded Rahmad.
