Clashes Between Residents In Sawah Besar Triggered By Noisy Motorcycle Exhaust
JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sawah Besar Police has not secured the perpetrators of the brawl that caused trouble on Jalan Dwi Warna 2, Sawah Besar District, Central Jakarta.
"No one has been arrested at the Sawah Besar Police," said Sawah Besar Police Chief AKP Dhanar Dono when confirmed by VOI, Friday, July 28.
Even so, members of the Sawah Besar Police have identified the cause of the brawl between the two groups of residents.
"The alleged cause is because one group uses a noisy exhaust," he said.
The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sawah Besar Police, AKP Sholeh, said that the incident began when a motorbike passed but the exhaust was noisy, then the residents reprimanded it.
"Those who were reprimanded happen to be outsiders from the area where the crime occurred (TKP). It turned out that those who were reprimanded did not accept it and brought their friends," he said.
AKP Sholeh said the teenager who did not accept the reprimand then called his colleague. Several of his colleagues came with a number of motorbikes and there was a commotion.
