Shutterstock Expands Partnership With OpenAI To Provide High Quality AI Training
Shutterstock, a platform that offers high-quality content, digital media and marketing companies, announced its partnership expansion with OpenAI, the parent company ChatGPT, on Tuesday, July 11.
Through this new six-year agreement, OpenAI has obtained a license for access to additional Shutterstock training data including related image libraries, videos, music, and metadata.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, Shutterstock also has priority access to the latest OpenAI technology and will continue to take advantage of DALL-E's generative text-to-image capabilities which are directly included in the shutterstock.complatform.
In addition to the text-to-image generation, this integration will also provide Shutterstock subscribers with capabilities that allow them not only to create new content, but also only edit and change any images across the Shutterstock library.
"The significant update and expansion of our strategic partnership with OpenAI strengthens Shutterstock's commitment to drive AI technology innovation and places us as data partners and distribution of choice for industry leaders in the AI generative," said Paul Hennessy, CEO of Shutterstock on its official website.
