JAKARTA - Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat) is presenting a women's entrepreneurship workshop in the field of technology as a series of SheHacks 2023 for the first time in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara.

Through this activity, Indosat supports the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf), in the utilization of Technology, Information and Communication (ICT) to maximize the empowerment of human resources in tourism and the creative economy in Indonesia, including in Labuan Bajo.

"The opportunity for Indonesian MSMEs to go digital will grow with a projection of around 64% until 2027. Women, the majority of whom are MSME managers, need to be equipped with the skills to use digital technology to encourage Indonesia's creative economic growth," said Indosat's SVP-Head of Corporate Communications Ooredoo Hutchison, Steve Saerang in the official broadcast.

For this reason, Indosat will facilitate them with assistance and training, especially in Labuan Bajo to develop innovative solutions to the challenges they face in the tourism industry.
