Investigate Extortion In Detention Center, The Role Of KPK's Karutan Is Wanted
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will seek the involvement of the head of the detention center after it is revealed that there are illegal levies. This allegation will be thoroughly investigated.
"We will study the karutan later, which chaos is it. Where is the time," Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur told reporters, Tuesday, June 20.
This effort was investigated because the Head of the KPK Detention Center had changed. So, Asep did not want to carelessly mention without evidence.
"We also don't want to justify someone without any evidence," he said.
"So this incident, this must be responsible for which period, who must be responsible," continued Asep.
As previously reported, the KPK Supervisory Board found allegations of illegal levies at the KPK Detention Center. The value is fantastic, reaching billions of rupiah and carried out for five months.
