The Motorcyclist's Death Was Hit By Avanza At The Cakung Toll Gate, Starting From A Conflict That Often Occurs On The Road
JAKARTA The hit-and-run incident between the driver of a silver Avanza car and a motorbike in front of the Cakung Toll Gate, East Jakarta is a real example of a long-tailed street conflict. Although the incident began with a collision between vehicles, each party blamed each other. Even as a result of the incident, one person, namely a motorcyclist, died.
It should be realized that at the beginning of the incident, quarrels between vehicle users on the road, often occur and are experienced by many people.
As explained by the police earlier, that the incident began with an argument between the victim, the initials OD and the perpetrator, namely MBP the Avanza driver in Cakung, East Jakarta, Wednesday, June 14, morning.
The victim and the perpetrator before an argument near the entrance to the Cakung-Kelapa Gading Toll Road. The quarrel started when OD and his mother drove a car to Kelapa Gading. Arriving in the Cakung area, the car driven by OD hit an MBP motorcycle. They pulled over and each got off their vehicle.
Arguing had occurred even though it was immediately handled by OD's mother. After that, OD and his mother immediately got back into the car. However, the problem did not stop there.
"When he arrived in Cakung, a small incident occurred when (the car) overtook the motorcycle driven by the victim," said East Jakarta Traffic Unit Head Iptu Darwis Yunarta, Thursday, June 15.

According to OD's confession, MBP damaged the right rearview mirror of his car, then fled immediately. Not accepting, OD chased MBP. He intended to stop the victim.
"However, apparently something else happened, causing the victim (of being hit) to be injured, and died while undergoing treatment at the hospital," said Darwis.
In the CCTV camera footage, the victim was dragged several meters after being hit, then run over by the perpetrator's car. The victim immediately lay on the road before being evacuated to be taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, MBP's life was not saved. After the incident, OD had surrendered to the police.
