Indonesia Open 2023 Results: Ginting Berjaya, Deputy Hosts Increase In Round Of 16
JAKARTA - Indonesian men's singles, Anthony Ginting triumphed in the last 32 of the Indonesia Open 2023 after winning over Vittinghus Hans-Kristian Solberg. Ginting's victory brought him through to the round of 16 which was also followed by a number of other representatives from the country.
Appearing on field 1 Istora Senayan, Ginting without obstacles means to overthrow representatives of Denmark, Wednesday, June 14. The second-seeded men's singles took only 30 minutes to ensure a straight two-game victory with a score of 21-8 and 21-10.
Ginting's convincing appearance in the round of 32 turned out to be a bitter moment for Vittinghus. This is because the Indonesia Open 2023 will be the last moment for the badminton player before deciding to retire.
On the other hand, not only Ginting, but tickets to qualify for the last 16 of the Indonesia Open were also won by Indonesian representatives in the doubles sector. Before Ginting there were men's and women's doubles who ensured a place to the round of 16.
