Barisan Soekarnois Declaration Ready To Win Ganjar Pranowo In The 2024 Presidential Election
JAKARTA - Followers of Bung Karno's teachings who are members of the Barisan Soekarnois Ganjar for president (BGSP) are ready to win Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate in the 2024 election.
"We, the Soekarnois Barisan, who fought based on Bung Karno's teachings and political theory, assessed that Ganjar Pranowo is Soekarno's ideological son who deserves to continue the work that President Joko Widodo has done," said BGSP National Chair Ugik Kurniadi, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, June 4.
Meanwhile, BGSP Secretary Riano Oscha explained that the volunteer organization was driven by alumni of the Indonesian National Student Movement (GMNI) and various elements of nationalist Soekarnois, which would be the potential for Indonesia to be upright based on the four pillars of life of the nation and state.
"The GMNI alumni who asserted itself as a thinker fighter to become a potential line up for the sake of Indonesia based on Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika," said Riano at the BSGP declaration at the GMNI PA DPP Office.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Volunteer Coordination Team for Winning the 2024 PDI-P Presidential Election Ahmad Basarah said that Ganjar Pranowo's candidacy was a momentum for GMNI to carry out total consolidation, in winning the upcoming presidential election.
Because, he said, since Megawati Soekarnoputri finished her term as president, it has taken 19 years for GMNI to wait for the moment.
Basarah explained that Ganjar Pranowo was a member of the national consideration board of GMNI alumni since the first PA GMNI Congress.
Presidential Candidate (Readpres) Ganjar Pranowo reminded that in the current digital platform era the power of the media is very large.
"If between us, the unity of GMNI alumni and then him, we will all bombard with that kindness, then father, mother, we will become a strength that is not small, not small," he asserted.
To note, registration for presidential and vice-presidential candidates is scheduled for October 19 to November 25, 2023.
