Netizens' Reaction After Argentina Announced Against Indonesia June 19, 2023: Get Ready For Messi To Be Tackled By Asnawi

JAKARTA Social media users gave various hilarious reactions after the Argentine Football Federation (AFA) confirmed the FIFA Matchday duel against Indonesia.

AFA through the website officially announced two Asian tours next month. The first is against Australia in Beijing, following after that against Indonesia in Jakarta.

" Lionel Scaloni's senior national team will play in China and Indonesia in June," wrote AFA through their official website.

Argentina will play the match against Australia on June 15. Meanwhile, against Indonesia will take place June 19 in Jakarta.

"In the next few days the stadium and schedule will be confirmed," wrote AFA.

This information immediately provoked various responses from social media users in Indonesia. Generally these comments contain joke tones.

"To defeat the King of Southeast Asia Thailand. Will return the king of Asia Japan from the Asian Cup. Slaughter the last king of Argentina in SUGBK. One way for my national team to win the number 1 position in the world," wrote one netizen.

"Try to have two. One to watch Coldplay, the other to watch Messi's (Lionel)," another replied.

"Jordi is very handsome with Julian Alvarez," another netizen joked.

"When will I see Indonesia like a World Cup champion," replied another.

"Get ready Lionel Messi was tackled by Asnawi [Mangkualam]," another responded.

"Emi Martinez is ready to worry about Arhan's long-range throw," said another netizen.

The presence of the Argentine national team is clearly a golden opportunity for Indonesia to measure its capabilities. Argentina came to Indonesia after winning the 2022 World Cup in Qatar at the end of last year.

They became the best in the quadrennial event after defeating defending champions France. It was the third title of the Argentine national team in the history of competition after they previously won in 1978 and 1986.
