Police Arrest 2 Drug Dealers In Bengkulu, 250 Packages Of Methamphetamine Confiscated
BENGKULU - Sub-Directorate I of the Directorate of Drug Investigation (Ditresnarkoba) of the Bengkulu Regional Police (Polda) arrested two dealers, namely RR (30) and GE (26) and confiscated 250 packages of methamphetamine.
The 250 packets of methamphetamine consist of 248 small packages, one medium size package and one large package.
"We confiscated hundreds of methamphetamine packages after his party arrested two RR (30) and GE (26) dealers," said Deputy Director of Drug Investigation at the Bengkulu Police AKBP Tonny Kurniawan as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, May 20.
The arrest of the two suspects after Sub-Directorate I personnel from the Narcotics Directorate of the Bengkulu Police received information that in one of the housing estates in Pulogeto Village, Merigi District, Kepahiang Regency, there were suspected drug dealers.
Then Subdit I Dirresnarkoba conducted an in-depth investigation, until there was a raid on suspects RR and GE who were distributing methamphetamine-type drugs with a map system.
"In the raid, his party found and confiscated 23 small packages of methamphetamine," he said.

Furthermore, the suspects RR and GE were taken to the Bengkulu Police Headquarters for further investigation and both were interrogated by members.
From the results of the investigation, explained Tomi, there was evidence of methamphetamine stored in the house, so that the Narcotics Sub-Directorate I team returned to the crime scene (TKP) and conducted a search and found 225 packages of small methamphetamine.
For their actions, the suspects RR and GE are threatened with Article 114 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) Sub-Article 112 Paragraph (2) of Law no. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a minimum threat of five years and a maximum of 20 years.
