PDI-P Values Kaesang In Prabowo's Shirt For The Form Of Freedom Of Expression
Chairman of the PDI-P DPP Ahmad Basarah assessed that the youngest son of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo, Kaesang Pangarep, who used a T-shirt with a picture of Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto, was a form of freedom of expression."Every citizen, including Mas Kaesang, is free to wear any picture of clothes. I think that's everyone's right, yes, to express themselves," Ahmad Basarah told reporters in Jakarta, Antara, Friday, May 12.Regarding Kaesang's actions, which were considered to have a political connotation, Ahmad Basarah said this depended on the perception of each of the judging parties."From our point of view, we respect, respect the expressions of every citizen, including the expression of Mas Kaesang to wear a shirt with a picture of anyone; I think that," he added.In a video uploaded on the YouTube channel Kaesang Pangarep by GK Hebat, Friday (5/5), Kaesang appears to be wearing a t-shirt with a picture of Prabowo Subianto. Kaesang's appearance also caught the attention of netizens.Meanwhile, Wednesday (10/5), the Branch Leadership Council (DPC) of the Surakarta City Gerindra Party has scheduled a meeting with Kaesang Pangarep which is rumored to want to take part in the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada).Chairman of the Gerindra Party DPC Ardianto Kuswinarno in Surakarta City, Wednesday, said the agenda for the meeting would be carried out after the registration of candidates for legislative candidates for the DPRD to the General Election Commission (KPU).
"After registering on May 14 at the KPU, I want to ask for time to meet Mas Kaesang. I and the Gerindra Solo team want to discuss this, what is clear is that we will first complete the party agenda on May 14. After that, we will carry out our activities outside, namely meeting him (Kaesang)," said Ardianto.
