Bank Indonesia Records The Amount Of DHE Which Is Now Collected At 363 Million US Dollars

JAKARTA - Bank Indonesia (BI) Governor Perry Warjiyo said that there was an increase in the collection of export foreign exchange (DHE) after the determination of special incentives at the end of last year.

In his notes, based on the latest calculation, the DHE value was 363 million US dollars.

"The foreign exchange of export results was collected from 16 exporters," he said when answering reporters in Jakarta, Monday, May 8.

Perrry explained that the dozens of business actors came from a number of sectors. Meanwhile, the main contributors are the mining sector (mining), the plantation sector, and the fisheries sector.

"This is also recorded from seven banks (which have been recorded by BI)," he said.

Perry admitted that DHE's growth entering the middle of the year tends to be slow.

According to him, this condition occurred due to exporters having reused part of DHE for business activities.

"Because it has been used for export by exporters," he said.
