Youth Clashes In Sidomulyo, South Lampung, 1 Person Died
LAMPUNG SELATAN - One person died and two others were seriously injured in a fight between youth groups in Campang Tiga Village, Sidomulyo District, South Lampung Regency.
South Lampung Police Chief AKBP Edwin confirmed the incident that killed one person.
"On Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 23.00 WIB in Campang Tiga Village, Sidomulyo District, there was a fight between a group of youths which resulted in two injuries and one death," said AKBP Edwin as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, May 4.
Edwin explained that the chronology of the incident began with a group of youths on behalf of WRPNLL who would fight against a group of youths from Katibung District.
The clash started when a group of youths on behalf of WRPNLL, chaired by Rahmat Hidayat (20), a resident of Umbul Duren Hamlet, Seloetno Village, Sidomulyo District, promised to meet in front of PT Evergreen in Campang Tiga Village via Instagram.
Then a group of WRPNLL youths with 15 people left using seven motorbikes.
Arriving in front of PTEVergreen, a group of youths from Sidomulyo met a group of youths from Katibung.

It has not yet arrived at PTEVergreen, the youth group from Sidomulyo, was greeted by firecrackers by a group of youths from Karibung. They fled and turned around and were then chased by a group of youths from Katibung using motorbikes.
One group of youths from Katibung who chased the Sidomulyo youth swung a sickle at the Sidomulyo youth, Diko, who was carrying Arif (MD) and Jidan at that time. Then Arif blocked the sickle swing using a saw-shaped iron plate.
As a result of the incident, Diko's motorbike swayed and became out of control, then fell at the TKP in Talang Baru Village which resulted in Arif being seriously injured and being rushed to the Sidomulyo Health Center and died.
Meanwhile, Jidan and Diko were taken by their families at Bob Bazar Kalida Hospital.
