Jakut Satpol PP Finds Dozens Of Nail Mines On Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan

North Jakarta Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) officers swept up nail mines on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Kelapa Gading Area, and got a quarter kilogram (kg) of nails, Wednesday, May 3.

Head of North Jakarta City Satpol PP Yusuf Madjid said the patrol to clean nail mines was carried out in line with routine monitoring of areas carried out every day.

North Jakarta Satpol PP modified a device such as a garu equipped with wheels and magnets on the lower side to clean nail mines on the road. Officers use the modified tool by pulling or pushing it.

The clearing of the road from the nail mine was carried out to provide comfort in the use of roads as well as frequent complaints related to nail mines that caused the residents' vehicle tires to leak.

"During this mine operation, nuts, bolts, umbrella nails and others were obtained," he said.

He thanked the people who paid attention to their environmental conditions by submitting complaints regarding nail mines.

He hopes that this active role will continue to be carried out so that Satpol PP is always present in providing a sense of security and comfort for the community, especially the people of North Jakarta.
