Accompanying Prabowo In Hambalang, Jimly Asshiddiqie-Marzuki Alie Actively Gives Input To Gerindra

BOGOR - Gerindra Party explained the presence of Jimly Asshiddiqie and Marzuki Alie who accompanied the general chairman Prabowo Subianto when welcoming former Ketum Hanura Wiranto in Hambalang, Bogor Regency, West Java.

Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party, Sugiono, after the meeting between Prabowo and Wiranto in Hambalang, explained that the two had recently been intense in providing input to the Gerindra Party.

"The two of them have been active in the sense that they often work with us in thinking about things that need to be done in the future in order to improve the condition of the nation and continue what is already good, also formulate programs with the Gerindra Party," said Sugiono as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, May 1.

Jimly Asshiddiqie, former Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK) and Marzuki Alie, the former chairman of the DPR, have not officially become Gerindra Party cadres.

"Not yet (as a cadre), if KTA (member card) has not (owned)," he said.

According to Sugiono, to become a cadre of the Gerindra Party, each candidate is obliged to carry out a regeneration process with the Gerindra Party.

"If there is a regeneration process, Mr. Jimly and Mr. Marzuki Alie have not experienced the regeneration process, but from their contribution, they are the strengthening for the Gerindra Party," said Sugiono.

As previously reported, Wiranto escorted his fostered cadres to continue their work in the Gerindra Party, after noon delivering some to PPP.

"I asked them if they still have a desire to fight in national politics, it turns out that they are ready if there is an order, but I said not based on orders, but democratically," said Wiranto.

According to him, some of his assisted cadres who were considered nationalists chose to continue in the Gerindra Party, and some who were religious to PPP.

"It turns out that it is true that those who tend to be based on nationalism choose Gerindra. Friends who breathe more agamis, Islam, especially I leave it to be able to take part in PPP this afternoon, I leave it to Mr. Mardiono," said Wiranto.
