Jose Mourinho Criticism War with Former AS Roma Player, Talking Achievements to the Club
JAKARTA - AS Roma coach, Jose Mourinho, is involved in friction with former club player, Antonio Cassano. The two exchanged scathing comments.
Jose Mourinho has hit back at Cassano's criticism that he plays too much drama and doesn't give anything in football. Cassano's criticism followed the Portuguese coach's return to being linked with his former club Real Madrid.
"Everyone is free to have an opinion and to criticize, but when it comes to other people like Antonio did it is different," said Mourinho.
"Some of us work in football, he just wants to enjoy football the way he wants. Cassano played for Roma, Inter and Real Madrid. In Madrid people only remember him wearing the jacket of the substitutes."
"With Roma he won the Supercopa without playing in the match. At Inter he didn't even take part in the Lombardy Cup friendly," said the coach nicknamed The Special One.
Mourinho then compared his achievements as a coach dealing with Real Madrid, AS Roma and Inter Milan.
"You know what I won with Inter, Real Madrid and Rome. Maybe he has a problem with me, but I don't feel there is a problem with him," Mourinho told the Daily Mail quoted via Antara.
