Twitter Ready to Sink! This Social Media Integrates ChatGPT to Create Posts

JAKARTA - India-based microblogging platform Koo is the first in the world to offer content creators the ability to create posts using ChatGPT.

"Koo is at the forefront of innovation and we are focused on helping creators express themselves and build community on the platform," Koo co-founder Mayank Bidawatka said in an interview.

"We're always looking for ways to make content creation easy for our users and integration with ChatGPT will give content creators smart help at their fingertips."

Koo users will be able to use ChatGPT right within the app to help them draft posts about the day's top posts or specific themes, such as current events, politics, and pop culture.

“This will help creators get inspired on what to create. They can ask (ChatGPT) for trending news in their area and then write down their thoughts," Bidawatka said.

Bidawatka added that Koo would be the first platform to integrate the technology into its post-authoring capabilities, which would worry its rival Twitter.

Users can type their requests into the ChatGPT tool or use Koo's voice command feature. This feature is available for verified profiles on the platform and will be rolling out to all users soon.

CIting Reuters, Tuesday, March 14, Bidawatkan stated that about 20 percent of Koo users are actively creating content on the app and the ChatGPT integration can help increase that number.

Koo will also explore adding a label to indicate whether a post was created with the help of ChatGPT.

For your information, Koo has rolled out a number of global firsts for microblogging 2.0, including the speak-type functionality and the patent-pending Koo Multilingual feature.

The platform recently launched Koo coin, a loyalty program for users engaged on the platform.
