Sentenced to 13 Years in Jail, Ricky Rizal: Had No Intention to Kill Yosua
JAKARTA - The defendant Ricky Rizal admitted that he had no intention or intention of killing Yosua alias Brigadier J.
He made this confession after hearing the verdict or sentence of 13 years in prison against him which was read out by the panel of judges.
"I never had the intention and will to kill Yosua", Ricky told reporters at the South Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, February 14.
Then, in his statement, Ricky Rizal handed over the next legal steps to his team of legal advisers, specifically regarding whether or not to appeal the decision of the panel of judges.
"For the next process, I will submit it to my legal adviser", said Ricky.
Ricky Rizal alias Bripka RR was found guilty and involved in a series of premeditated murder cases against Yosua alias Brigadier J. Thus, he was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
In the verdict, Ricky Rizal's actions or actions in the series of premeditated murder cases are believed to have violated Article 340 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph 1 to (1) of the Criminal Code.

Ricky Rizal is said to have played a role in supervising the whereabouts of Brigadier J before being executed at the official house number 46, the National Police Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta. The purpose of that role is to prevent Brigadier J from escaping.
For information, the panel of judges has also sentenced Ferdy Sambo, Putri Candrawathi, and Strong Ma'ruf.
For Ferdy Sambo was sentenced to death. Meanwhile, Princess Candrawathi was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Most recently, the panel of judges also declared Strong Ma'ruf guilty and sentenced him to 15 years in prison.
