Brigadier J's Father Talks About Kuat Ma'ruf's 15-Year Verdict: Smart, But Pretending To Be Stupid
JAKARTA - Yosua alias Brigadier J's father, Samuel Hutabarat, believes that the 15-year sentence against Kuat Ma'ruf is very appropriate. This is because Ferdy Sambo's driver was always convoluted and pretended to be stupid during the trial.
"Indeed, from the start, Kuat Ma'ruf was very convoluted and pretended to be stupid," Samuel told journalists, Tuesday, February 14.
According to him, Kuat Ma'ruf is actually a very smart person, especially playing a role in the series of premeditated murder cases against Brigadier J.
He can pretend not to know anything during the interrogation and trial. However, the panel of judges was able to expose his lies.
"Even though he is not stupid. How could a two-star general use this stupid person to pretend to trick the panel of judges," he said.
Additionally, Rosty Simanjuntak was very grateful for the judges' decision. This is because the 15-year prison sentence for Kuat Ma'ruf indicates legal justice in Indonesia.
"We believe from the start that judges are God's messengers on this earth to be able to provide justice and the fairest possible punishment for Defendant Kuat Ma'ruf," said Rosty.
Kuat Ma'ruf was found guilty in the premeditated murder case of Yosua alias Brigadier J. Thus, the panel of judges sentenced Ferdy Sambo's household assistant (ART) to 15 years in prison.
In his verdict, the actions or actions of Kuat Ma'ruf in the series of premeditated murder cases are believed to have violated Article 340 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph 1 to (1) of the Criminal Code.
