Cak Imin And Prabowo Hold Political Safari Inviting Other Coalition Political Parties After Inaugurating PKB-Gerindra Secretariat Next Monday

JAKARTA - PKB General Chairman (Ketum) Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin and Gerindra Chairman Prabowo Subianto will go on a political safari visiting other political parties (political parties).

The political gathering will begin with the inauguration of the Joint Secretariat (Sekber) of the PKB-Gerindra coalition heading for the 2024 Presidential Election on Monday 23 January next week.

"God willing, on the 23rd (January 2023, -red), Monday, we will inaugurate the PKB and Gerindra coalition in one post together," said Cak Imin, Thursday, January 19.

Cak Imin ensured that Prabowo would attend the inauguration in person. He hopes that the meeting will result in a step forward for his coalition in facing the five-year democratic party.

"God willing, Mr. Prabowo and I will attend. Hopefully, soon there will be more aggressive steps to win the hearts of the people," he said.

After inaugurating the PKB-Gerindra secretariat, Cak Imin said he would join Prabowo on a political safari to visit other political parties to explore coalitions. According to him, the PKB-Gerindra coalition is open to other political parties wishing to join.

"Definitely (open a coalition with other parties). After the opening of the post later, we will go on a safari to meet with the parties we will invite to join," explained the Deputy Speaker of the DPR.

Previously, PKB Deputy Chairperson Jazilul Fawaid said Cak Imin would meet with Prabowo this week. However, he did not specify the date of the meeting.

Jazilul revealed that the meeting between the two was to discuss the results of the Ijtima' Ulama Nusantara recommendations regarding the decision on the presidential and cawapres candidates to be carried by PKB. Of course, he said, involving Gerindra as a coalition partner.

"God willing, this week (Cak Imin will meet Mr. Prabowo, ed)," Jazilul told reporters, Tuesday, January 17.

Meanwhile, Gerindra DPP Daily Chairperson Sufmi Dasco Ahmad said, PKB-Gerindra will inaugurate Sekber heading for the 2024 Presidential Election on Monday, January 23. He asked the public to wait for confirmation regarding the determination of the presidential and vice presidential candidates to be announced by the Gerindra and PKB coalition.

"Just wait. Incidentally, next week we will inaugurate the Gerindra-PKB Secretariat on Monday, January 23, 2023," said Dasco.
