Snapchat Launches Three New Features for Snapchat Plus Subscribers

JAKARTA - Snapchat introduced three new features for users who subscribe to Snapchat+ for USD 3.99 or IDR 62.000 per month.

Snapchat now allows you to share a monthly Snapchat+ subscription for $39.99 or IDR 622.000 with your friends with the new Gifting feature.

In addition, Snapchat+ users can now customize the look and feel of the app, such as customizing the capture button, app icon, and so on using a feature called Custom Camera Options.

The third new feature is that you can customize the background theme of your chat rooms with Chat Wallpapers. There, Snapchat has sad a lot of interesting themes and it's definitely free to use.

Snapchat's paid features have been launched since last June with a series of exclusive features. Back in October, Snapchat+ also gave users the ability to make their Snapchat Stories expire at different intervals instead of 24 hours.

With this update, Snapchat+ subscribers gain the ability to set Snaps in their Story to expire after one hour, six hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, two days, three days, or even a week.

There's also a figure that gives subscribers the option to use a different custom notification sound when a friend snaps it.

In the first month since its launch, Snapchat+ has helped the app generate over $5 million in revenue, according to estimates.
