Open Doors Of Peace, Jessica Iskandar Asks Steven To Attend Mediation Session
JAKARTA - The feud between Jessica Iskandar and Christopher Steffanus Budianto alias Steven has entered the trial stage. With a mediation agenda, the initial trial will take place at the South Jakarta District Court (PN) on Wednesday, November 2.
Jessica Iskandar was seen with her husband, Vincent Verhaag, and was accompanied by lawyer Rolland E. Potu. On the other hand, Steven as the plaintiff did not appear to be present and was only represented by his lawyer, Togar Situmorang.
Jessica's side also admitted that they were disappointed when they learned that Steven did not appear to attend the mediation hearing. “My principal, Mr. Vincent, and Mrs. Jessica want CSB to attend. Even if you really want to mediate, meet first, in person. So there is no intermediary for anyone,” said Jessica's lawyer.

Rolland stated that his party welcomed the intention to make peace, but he asked for Steven's arrival in person. “In principle, we do not close for mediation. But a fair mediation is that my client is present in person, CSB is also present in person,” he said.
Vincent Verhaag, the husband of Jessica Iskandar, was also upset by Steven's absence. "Just come. It's a request from the start, whatever the reason is. That's what makes me angry sometimes, I want peace but he doesn't come," said Vincent.
The mediation session itself will continue next week, where both parties are given the opportunity to prepare new offer points for the upcoming mediation session.
