Next month! Among Us VR Debuts in the New Headset Meta Quest 2
JAKARTA - Developers Innersloth and Schell Games officially revealed the release date for Among Us VR during the virtual Meta Connect event yesterday.
The VR version of Among Us was originally introduced during last year's Game Awards while announcing its development for Meta Quest, SteamVR, and PlayStation VR.
Priced at 9.99 US dollars equivalent to Rp. 153 thousand at the Meta Quest and Rift stores, Among Us VR will launch on November 10. Players can pre-order the game at the Meta Quest online store.
The game will bring some changes from its predecessors by featuring new minigames and features made especially for VR, but still similar to the original experience.
“The VR version of Among Us stays true to the spirit of the original game while also giving players a new way to experience the chaos and thrill of accusing your friends of murder,” said Innersloth community director Victoria Tran, cited from VetureBeat, Wednesday, October 12.

Apart from that, the game will also have quick text chat and close-range voice chat to better facilitate cheating moves.
Among US VR supports four to 10 players, but players must play with other people who also own the VR version of the game.
Launching in eight languages and with one- and two-handed gesture options, Among Us VR will also be a cross-platform game, meaning players on Rift, Quest, and SteamVR will be able to play together.
Besides Among Us VR, Meta is also bringing Marvel's Iron Man VR, Population: One Sandbox and The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners - Chapter 2: Retribution to its VR Quest 2 headset next month.
