Riding A Motorcycle Using A Headset: A Woman Was Hit From Behind, Her Head Hit Hard Until She Died

SERANG - A motorcyclist was involved in a traffic accident on Jalan Raya Serang - Cilegon in Serdang Village, Serdang Village, Kramatwatu, Serang Regency, Monday afternoon, September 26 at around 04.00 WIB.

The Head of the Serang City Police, Kompol Tri Wilarno, when confirmed, confirmed the incident. Tri Wilarno said the victim died with injuries to the head due to a hard impact.

“It is true that there has been a traffic accident. As a result of the accident, LY (40) the driver of a Yamaha Mio M3 motorcycle Nopol A 2652 WF died on the spot due to injuries on the back of the head, bleeding ears and abrasions on both legs. The victim is a housewife who lives on Jalan Cicerat, Cilegon," Tri said in a written statement, Monday, September 26.

Tri explained the chronology of the incident. He said, at that time the victim's motorbike, Yamaha Mio, came from Serang to Cilegon.

“The victim is suspected of having a lack of concentration because he was driving using a headset and then changing lanes to the left. At the same time from the same direction or behind, came an unknown motorcycle. So there was a rush that caused the victim to fall and the motorbike that was grazed fled towards Cilegon," he explained.

Officers have conducted a crime scene (TKP) and took the victim to the hospital.

"The victims were immediately evacuated to Dr Drajat Prawiranegara Hospital. Then the vehicle involved in the accident was secured at the Gakkum Unit Office of the Serang City Police Satlantas for the investigation process," he added.
