Police Transfer Case Files for 4 Suspects in Online Gambling Cases to Mukomuko Prosecutor
BENGKULU - The police handed over the case files and several pieces of evidence of the online gambling case with four suspects to the Public Prosecutor of the Mukomuko District Attorney, Bengkulu.
"We have carried out the first stage of submitting files to the prosecutor for an online gambling case involving four suspects, namely NT (46), US (31), In (58), and Al (61)", said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Iptu Susilo, in Mukomuko, Bengkulu, Thursday, September 22.
He said that the case files of the four suspects would be studied first by the Mukomuko Prosecutor.
He added if all the case files for the four gambling suspects were declared complete, then proceed with the second stage of submitting the files to the local Public Prosecutor's Office.
Of these four suspects, NT (46), a resident of Tunggang Village, Pondok Suguh District, acts as an online lottery bookie. Then three people were US (31), In (58), and Al (61) players.
He said the Mukomuko Police arrested four perpetrators from Tunggang Village based on reports from the community in the Pondok Suguh District.
Furthermore, the Mukomuko Police deployed three personnel from the Intelligence and Security Unit, 10 personnel from the Criminal Investigation Unit, and five personnel from the Samapta Unit to arrest the perpetrators.

He said the evidence that was secured was in the form of cash amounting to IDR 868 thousand in denominations, 14 pieces of IDR 50,000 denominations, and one sheet of IDR 100,000 denominations.
Then three IDR 10,000 denominations, six IDR 5,000 denominations, three IDR 2,000 denominations, and he had IDR 1,000 denominations.
He said the money that had been transferred to the 'LIMBOY' account on the 'NYONYA4D' site was IDR 300,000. Meanwhile, the remaining nominal for the 'LIMBOY' account on the 'NYONYA4D' website is IDR 702,384.
Furthermore, Iptu Susilo said that his party would develop this case to reveal who were the dealers and lottery gambling players in this area.
He said the Mukomuko Police had developed an online lottery gambling case in the area from the confessions of the dealers and their players.
