The FBI Offers IDR1.4 Billion For Anyone Who Can Give Information To Criptocriminals Ruja Ignatava Alias Crypto Queen

JAKARTA Crypto fraud perpetrators are being hunted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). One of them is Ruja Ignatova who is dubbed the Crypto Queen. She is the founder of the OneCoin crypto exchange. OneCoin case is the largest fraud case in the history of cryptocurrencies.

Recently, the FBI announced a list of the 10 most wanted fugitives on the podcast Inside the FBI. The OneCoin founder is on the FBI's most wanted wanted wanted wanted list.

In this episode of Inside the FBI, we will learn how Ignatova, through a company once marketed as a 'Bitcoin killer,' doesn't change the world... but instead robs billions of dollars from investors, said host Monica Grover of the FBI's Public Affairs Office.

Since last June, the FBI has officially included the name Ruja Ignatova on the list. The US law enforcement agency offers a reward of up to 100.000 US dollars (approximately IDR 1.4 billion) for anyone who can provide information regarding the Crypto Queen.

Apart from her, OneCoin founders are also on the list of the most wanted fugitives in Europe. Europol is offering a reward of up to 5,000 euros (approximately IDR 74 million) for any information that could lead to Ignatova's arrest.

"On October 12, 2017, Ignatova was charged with a OneCoin fraud scheme, and a federal warrant was issued for her arrest", Grover added in a seven-minute podcast episode.

The investigators believe she may have been informed that she is being investigated. She traveled from Sofia, Bulgaria, to Athens, Greece, on October 25, 2017, and has never been seen since."

Greek police reportedly received intelligence information on Ignatova's whereabouts in July.

She is currently 42 years old and has dark brown eyes and dark brown hair until black. However, investigators believe she could have changed her physical appearance, Grover detailed further. Ignatova speaks English, German and Bulgarian. She may have traveled by fake passport and had known connections to Bulgaria, Germany, Russia, Greece, and the United Arab Emirates. She is known to have lived a luxurious lifestyle.
