"Plat K" Volunteers Meet Jokowi At The Palace, No Directions For Support For The 2024 Presidential Candidate Because They Are Still Thinking About Economic Issues
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) met with "Plat K" volunteers at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta. The meeting discussed economic issues, overlapping land, and support for 2024.
"If we talk about the current economic problem, yes. You told me that in the current economy many countries will experience inflation, but Indonesia has so far maintained that there is no inflation", said Haidar, one of the representatives of Plat K volunteers at the Palace. President, Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Friday, August 26.
There are around 32 Plat K volunteers from six districts, namely Jepara, Blora, Pati, Grobogan, Rembang, and Kudus. The person in charge of the Plat K volunteers is Aan Rochiyanto, who also met with President Jokowi.
"For example, Mr. (President) explained that in Europe it is buying fuel in the line, in America buying food ingredients is already in line. Mr. explained that we live in Indonesia and must be grateful, buying fuel is not in line, and it is still subsidized by the government. By buying food we can still be normal. That's what we discuss with you", continued Haidar.
Haidar claimed to be a volunteer from representatives of the creative economy.
"We from volunteers, from brothers and sisters in Blora, want Mr. Jokowi to resolve overlapping land issues, land disputes. So, some lands become disputes between the community and the district government", said Haidar.
Haidar said that in Jepara there are also difficulties in access, especially for him and the furniture entrepreneurs so that they have access to the ring road or toll road to Jepara.
Regarding support for 2024, Haidar said that volunteers will continue to support whatever President Jokowi chooses.
"The name is volunteers, yes, they must be in the same command with Pak Jokowi. Whatever you choose, support or not support, we will be in command with Pak Jokowi", said Haidar.

Haidar admitted that there was no directive from President Jokowi regarding support for a particular presidential candidate.
"Father, there are no directions to anyone. Anyway, let's go ahead, don't be in a hurry. We are now solving economic problems first, then we will think differently", he said.
"The economic problem has not been resolved, he said. We will solve it first so that the community is comfortable, everyone is happy, finding fuel is not difficult, continuing to find food is not difficult, that's what people want, they can still eat, transportation is easier", he continued.
President Jokowi, said Haidar, did not explain any political directions.
"There are no directives, but we form our own volunteers determined that we would follow the same command with Pak Jokowi", said Haidar.
