Apple Already Sends Invitations To Launch iPhone 14 Early September
JAKARTA - Apple Inc on Wednesday, August 24 sent invitations to several media for the September 7 event. From the invitation analysts predict that the company will launch a new iPhone, a week earlier than its traditional fall event.
If Apple follows a pattern of shipping its devices about a week and a half after launch, it could add another two weeks of iPhone sales into the fourth quarter based on the company's fiscal.
Apple plans to host the event at the Steve Jobs Theater at its headquarters in Cupertino, California.
The event will be the first face-to-face indoor event since the coronavirus pandemic began in 2020.
Analysts expect Apple to introduce its next-generation iPhone 14 model on the occasion.
Reuters has previously reported that Apple told suppliers it expects this new generation of phones to sell better than its predecessors.
