Manchester United Signs Former Tottenham Hotspur Star, Supporters: Who Said We Need De Jong?
JAKARTA - Manchester United has a new figure in the team. He is former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Tom Huddlestone.
However, the 35-year-old was not plotted as a new player under manager Erik ten Hag. Huddlestone was brought in to face the Red Devils' U-21 team.
In addition to being a coach, the figure who was released from Hull City is also a player in the team.
Huddlestone fills the position left by Paul McShane. He is in charge of overseeing training sessions as well as setting standards for players, both on and off the pitch.
Huddlestone's arrival was actually made a joke by a handful of Manchester United fans. This relates to the club's management efforts that are very difficult to bring in Barcelona midfielder, Frenkie de Jong.

De Jong is indeed a top priority for the Red Devils in this summer's transfer window. The Premier League club has actually agreed a fee of £71 million to sign him from Barcelona.
