Women's Boxing Star Ebanie Bridges Speaks About Pre-Game Sex Principles: Testicles Are The Last Thing I Think About!
JAKARTA - Women's boxing star, Ebanie Bridges said, has in common with Carl Froch and Floyd Mayweather regarding principles before the fight. This is related to the firmness not to have sex before the match takes place.
Bridges had far more righteous reasons than her male counterparts. She said sex was the last thing on her mind when she focused on training ahead of a match.
Currently, Bridges is preparing to face fellow Australian boxer, Shannon O'Connell. This is her first chance to defend her IBF bantamweight world title.
This will be Bridges' first fight since defeating Maria Cecilia Roman in a brutal 10-round fight in March. Bridges insists there will be no sex before the fight against O'Connell begins.
She said she didn't like sex scenes after a day of practice. "I've definitely heard of it (the principle of not having sex before a fight) from male boxers," said Bridges in an exclusive interview with Daily Star Sport.
"For women, I'm not sure it's the same. But to be honest, after dieting and training so hard for such a long time, testicles are the last thing I think about!"
"To be honest, when I'm training really hard and dieting really hard, it's really the last thing on my mind. When I'm at the training ground, I don't really want to spend more energy on anything."
To the Daily Mail, Ebanie Bridges also spoke exclusively about preparations ahead of her match against O'Connell. Talking about sex before the fight, according to her, will be a topic of discussion that will never end.
