UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman Will Appear In Marvel's Black Panther Blockbuster Sequel
JAKARTA - UFC welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman, is preparing to defend his title against Leon Edwards, this August. This is the sixth time he will defend his UFC title.

The film 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' will be shown on the big screen, two months after Kamaru Usman's clash with Leon Edwards in the octagon. The highly anticipated sequel is slated to premiere on November 11.
MMA fans were surprised to learn that the fighter with a 20-1 record has landed his first role in a film. This news was first brought up by UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier during the UFC 277 weigh-in event on ESPN+.
Sources further confirmed the news, including his manager Ali Abdelaziz.
It is still unknown which character the Nigerian-American fighter will play. The extent of his role in the film is also still a secret.
Kamaru Usman, who previously uploaded a photo of himself as an iconic superhero on Instagram, is known to be a big fan of the film.
Regarding his career in the UFC, Usman's last victory came against Colby Covington last November. The fighter also beat the controversial American athlete in the 2019 bout by a brutal TKO.
