Manchester United's Patience Is Running Out, Make A Final Offer For Frenkie De Jong
JAKARTA - Manchester United is still struggling to get Barcelona midfielder, Frenkie de Jong. However, their patience was running out.
Reportedly, Manchester United have prepared their final offer. However, this latest offer will not change the transfer fee given to Barcelona.
This new offer will focus more on direct negotiations with De Jong and his representatives, as quoted by Antara from Football Espana.
De Jong has always rejected Manchester United's offer for missing the chance to play in the Champions League. The Red Devils will only appear in the Europa League next season.
To melt the heart of the player, the management of the Premier League club will offer the highest salary at Old Trafford. He will be paid 395,000 euros or equivalent to IDR 6.1 billion per week.
De Jong will beat the salaries of David De Gea, Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane, and even Cristiano Ronaldo.
Barcelona and Manchester United were previously reported to have agreed on a transfer fee of 63 million euros, or around Rp.958 billion. However, there has been no meeting point with the player.
The former Ajax Amsterdam player was adamant about staying. While Barcelona wants to sell it to nourish the club's finances.
The La Liga club gave the option to De Jong to have his salary cut if he didn't want to leave. This was done by Barcelona to escape the salary limit rules to be able to register some of their new players.
