Good News From Mukomuko, 14,450 Residents Have Undergone Booster Vaccination

BENGKULU - The Mukomuko Regency COVID-19 Handling Task Force stated that as many as 14,450 residents had received complementary vaccines or booster doses as of Monday, August 1.

The spokesperson for the Mukomuko COVID-19 Handling Task Force, Bustam Bustomo, said that the number means 8.8 percent of the 164,208 residents in Mukomuko who have received booster vaccinations.

Meanwhile, 134,266 or 81.77 percent of the 164,208 residents have received the first dose of vaccine.

Bustam detailed that the 134,266 recipients of the first dose of the mutual cooperation vaccine consisted of 1,392 health workers, 87,930 public service officers, 5,974 elderly citizens, 15,373 adolescents, 18,295 children, and 5,302 general residents.

He continued, 87,930 public service officers who had undergone vaccination consisted of personnel from the Kodim, Polres, Brimob, District Attorney, District Court, KPPN, Religious Courts, journalists, BPJS, government employees, BRI, and state civil apparatus (ASN) within the district government and general public.

However, out of 134,266 residents, only 91,542 people have received a complete injection of the COVID-19 vaccination, namely dose I and dose II.

They consist of 1,238 health workers, 56,195 public service officers, 4,361 elderly, 11,371 adolescents, 13,082 children aged 6-11 years, and 5,295 mutual assistance vaccine recipients.

Until now, there are still 42,724 health workers, public service officers, the elderly, and children 6-11 years old who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, but have not received the second dose of vaccine.

The reason, he continued, was because some of them had not yet reached their time and their health conditions did not allow it.

"There are residents who have not received the second dose of COVID-19 vaccination because their health conditions have not allowed and there are residents who have not yet received the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine and children 6-11 years old have just received the COVID-19 vaccine," he said, according to Antara.

He stated that the injection of the COVID-19 vaccine dose I and dose II for health workers, public service workers, the elderly, and children aged 6-11 years would continue according to the target number.
