Tyson Fury Challenges Anthony Joshua: He's An Idiot And I'll Take Him Down!
JAKARTA - Current WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury seems to have regained the will to keep fighting. In fact, after defeating Dillian Whyte last April, he considered hanging up his boxing gloves.
In recent days, Fury has launched a challenge to Anthony Joshua, the former WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion, who will seek to regain his belt against Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk on August 20.
About the fight, Gipsy King threw a mocking challenge at his compatriot.
"Anthony Joshua is an idiot and I'm going to knock him out! If he beats Usyk, he has to fight me for free in England, for the fans. Not for hundreds of millions abroad, let it be here in England," Fury was quoted as saying by Marca, Wednesday.
Fury even requested that the show be broadcast on TV for free and with free tickets, to give British fans a new treat, similar to the big show Fury put on in his fight against Whyte at Wembley.
“It will be seen by 30 million people for free. That you don't win for money. Let's do this for the England fans. Let's see who the real man is. I know me, that's why I'm willing to do it for free in England," Fury said. "He's not going to want to do that, he's going to want to travel abroad because he's a businessman. And I don't care about business."
The only condition that Fury asks is Joshua stand up and regain his belt against Usyk, although in general the boxing world is not very confident in Joshua's qualities. One of them is Mexican boxer Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez who has said that if he moves up the class he will challenge Joshua because he is the most affordable opponent for Joshua's style.
Meanwhile, Fury offers to train Joshua to keep him in top shape for the fight against Usyk. But AJ rejected the proposal.

"I would have coached him very easily to beat Usyk but he didn't want my help because I would definitely train him to win and he obviously didn't want to win," Fury said.
If Usyk kept his belt and wanted to unite against Fury, Gipsy King initially warned that he would charge $500 million to put the gloves back on because he was "tired".
So, the second alternative he gives to take on the challenge is free combat which is completely open to everyone.
