Leaving Fenerbahce, Mesut Ozil Writes Touching Message: Life Is Full Of Uncertainty
JAKARTA - Mesut Ozil has officially separated from Turkish League club Fenerbahce. This separation makes Ozil feel heavy. He then wrote a touching message via his social media.
In a post shared Thursday, July 14, Ozil admits Fenerbahce is the club he has idolized since childhood. His dream of playing for the club came true as an adult, but then he had to separate because he no longer had a place.
"There are things that make our lives full of uncertainty. Our plans, desires and what we may not always go in the direction you want," Ozil wrote on Instagram.
Since joining Fenerbahce in January 2021, Ozil has made a total of 36 games, scoring nine goals and providing three assists.
The former Real Madrid and Arsenal player had to end his dream with Fenerbache because he felt he no longer had a place in the main squad. In addition, a dispute with the coach was also another factor he chose to leave.
"I want to be successful by getting more opportunities to play at Fenerbahce, which has always been my childhood dream."
