With ‘Girls’, aespa Prints a Pre-Order Record of 1.6 Million Of Album Copies
JAKARTA - K-pop group AESPA is back with a mini album entitled Girls today, Friday, July 8th. This album marks their latest release after releasing Savage in 2021.
Girls is a dominant dance track with bass. The lyrics still tell the story of Aespa's journey with Naevis who is blocked by Black Mamba. This story is part of the SM Cinematic Universe.
The music video features sharply choreographed CGI by the four members: Karina, Winter, Giselle, and Ningning.
Girls' mini album contains nine songs including Illusion, Forever, Dreams Come True, and Life's Too Short which they sang at Coachella.
Debuted for two years, aespa has set a new record. Through his latest album, SM Entertainment announced that this album had ordered 1.610.517 copies before it was released.

The album release will be according to the number of pre-orders. It can be projected that sales figures will continue to grow after the release of Girls.
Meanwhile, aespa became the female K-pop group with the most album orders in K-pop history. Previously, this record was achieved by BLACKPINK with THE ALBUM in 2020. Until now, only AESPA and BLACKPINK have reached one million album pre-orders.

On the other hand, aespa will promote Girls to several music shows in South Korea and the United States. They also held a fan meeting in Korea on July 30th and the tickets were already sold out.
