UK PM: If Putin Was A Woman, She Didn't Start Wars And Crazy Violence

JAKARTA - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in a commentary during an interview Tuesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin would not have invaded Ukraine if he were a woman.

Speaking after the G-7 summit in Germany's Bavaria, PM Johnson told German broadcaster Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen (ZDF), "If Putin was a woman, that's definitely not her, but if she was, I really don't think she would'. started a war of invasion and violence that was insane and macho the way he did", the Daily Sabah reported June 29.

"The logic is yes of course everyone wants the war to end, they want the war to end in desperation, but there is no deal available", Johnson said, noting that President Putin did not make a deal offer, while President Volodymyz Zelensky could not offer a deal.

Johnson added that the West should support Kyiv in its military strategy to help change the dynamics of the conflict, to put Zelenskyy "in the best position to talk if and when talks do finally come."

"We really want to give Ukraine strategic resilience", he added.
