COVID-19 Update As Of May 19: 318 New Cases From Examination Of 127.464 Specimens
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 127.464 specimens were examined with the results of 318 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulated positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6.051.850 people and active cases have fallen by 78 to 3.766 cases," said Ministry of Health data, Thursday, May 19.
Today's recovered cases increased by 34 cases, bringing the total to 5.891.574 recovered people. Then, positive confirmation that 12 people died and a total of 156.510 people.
The province with the highest newest cases was DKI Jakarta with 90 cases and a total of 1.249.457 cases. Followed by West Java with 48 new cases with a total of 1.106.175 cases. East Java has 37 new cases and a total of 576.003 cases. Then, Central Java with 31 new cases and a total of 627.486 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 186 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an additional 49 recovered cases, Central Java with an additional 35 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 34 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 97.850.450.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 0.34 percent," he wrote.
