Lazio's Sergej Milinkovic-Savic Reportedly Prefers To Stay In Serie A Instead Of Joining Manchester United

JAKARTA - The Serbian player, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, is reported to have wanted to leave Lazio. However, he turned down the offer to play abroad.

In fact, there have been signs of interest from Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain. The player's agent has also reportedly spoken to four to five Premier League clubs.

United have been heavily linked with Savic as they are almost certain to lose Paul Pogba, whose contract expires this summer.

Meanwhile, Savic is reluctant to play abroad because he still feels comfortable in Serie A. Whereas, previously, Lazio President Claudio Lotito had said, Savic could only leave for clubs outside Italy.

The player has recently been linked with Juventus. In fact, when Juventus faced Lazio at the Allianz Stadium, Savic got applause from the home fans.

Lazio are willing to release the 27-year-old player at a price of 50-60 million euros. However, Juventus could think twice about bringing him in.

Juventus may prefer to bring back Paul Pogba who can be obtained for free. Currently, the management of the Old Lady has reportedly communicated with the player's representative.

Apart from Pogba, Juventus has also been linked with PSG's Angel Di Maria. The status is the same, can be imported for free.
