Juventus Confirms Final Ticket To Coppa Italia After Beating Fiorentina 2-0, Massimiliano Allegri: We're Back On Track
JAKARTA - Juventus coach, Massimiliano Allegri appreciated the performance of his retainers after a 2-0 win over Fiorentina in the 2021/2022 Coppa Italia semifinal second leg. The coach congratulated the team on achieving one of their big targets.
In the match on Thursday, 21 April WIB, the Bianconeri took the lead through a goal from Federico Bernardeschi in the 32nd minute and it closed perfectly with Danilo's goal in 90+4 added time. This victory over Fiorentina makes Juventus qualify for the final because they are 3-0 up on aggregate.
"We have to congratulate the players because reaching the (Coppa Italia) final is the goal this season," Allegri said as quoted by Football Italia.
Allegri also said this victory was proof of Juventus' return to the real path after they were previously held to a 1-1 draw by Bologna. The result made the position of his team slumped in the Italian League standings.
"Some difficult days after the draw with Bologna, when we failed to take advantage of many opportunities. But this is proof we are back on track (winning)," said Allegri continued.

Regarding the course of the match, Allegri said Fiorentina appeared with passes and his speed was very dangerous. If Juventus gives space, it will create problems.
However, Allegri assesses his troops are working well. Not only the players who were introduced from the start, but also the substitutes who showed enthusiasm to reach the final.
"Those who came off the bench and everyone who played at the start did very well. All of that shows we have the team spirit to reach this final," said Allegri.
The success of Juventus has made them noted that they will face the Coppa Italia final for the 21st time during their participation. In addition, this final is also the seventh final for the Old Lady in the last eight seasons.
