2 Of 5 Burned Victims At Warakas Road Workshop Tanjung Priok Are Still Children, Siblings
JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) Satriadi Gunawan said that his party received a report on a fire workshop on Jalan Warakas on Tuesday morning, April 12, at 02.37 a.m.
Satriadi Gunawan explained that as many as three shophouses for a motorcycle repair shop were burned down on Jalan Warakas, Tanjung Priok. And five people who died in the incident were from one family, namely DWS (50), JVT (50), DRS (25) A (15) and L (10).
"Yes, it is true that five people died, three women and 2 men, he was trapped inside when the fire broke out," said Satriadi when confirmed, Tuesday, April 12.
"There is one person who survived, his son is not yet known. He (survived) was playing futsal outside the house," he added.
Satriadi explained that the cause of the fire was suspected to be an electrical short. The chronology begins with a resident who saw the smoke from the workshop.

"So there were residents who saw smoke coming from inside the workshop, then the fire spread and reported it to the fire department at 02:37 a.m.," he said.
His party received the report, immediately dispatched 10 firefighters and 50 personnel. To put out the fire.
"So at 02.48 WIB the team arrived, at 03.15 a.m. it was cooling down. At 03.55 a.m., the blackout was finished," he said.
In this incident, five people died. However, regarding the amount of loss it cannot be estimated, "The loss cannot be estimated," he said.
