President Jokowi: Muaro Jambi Temple National Cultural Heritage Area Is The Oldest Education Center In Asia
JAMBI - President Joko Widodo during his visit to the Muaro Jambi Temple National Cultural Conservation Area (KCBN), Jambi Province, stated that the temple is the oldest educational center in Asia.
"Muaro Jambi KCBN used to be an educational center for medicine, medicine, philosophy, architecture, and the arts. That means, our civilization at that time was international and open," said President Joko Widodo at KCBN Muaro Jambi, Jambi Province, Thursday, April 7.
Jokowi explained that Muaro Jambi KCBN was an educational center in the seventh century, including the largest and oldest in Asia. In addition, at the beginning of entering the temple area, it is shown by the presence of rocks that are piled up to form a building.

In fact, there are still several temples that are in the process of restoration and which have not been restored. "This is history that needs to be preserved so that traces of our civilization are not lost," said Joko Widodo.

Furthermore, President Joko Widodo and his mother performed a ritual of washing hands with water from a well in the Kedaton Temple location.
Where the well water is the water brought by the Governor of Jambi Al Haris during the traditional ritual of bringing land and water to the zero point of the new National Capital of the Archipelago (IKN) in East Kalimantan some time ago.
