Imitating Pep Guardiola's Philosophy, Erik Ten Hag Will Make Manchester United Like Barcelona?
JAKARTA - Ajax Amsterdam coach, Erik ten Hag, is a candidate for Manchester United manager next season. This man from the Netherlands has met with the Red Devils management to conduct an interview process.
Reportedly, Manchester United's management seems interested in Erik ten Hag's presentation. It is not impossible, he will replace Ralf Rangnick's position next season.
If that happens, the pattern of Manchester United's game is believed to be changing completely. There is a chance that the club based at Old Trafford will carry the same style as Barcelona, Bayern Munich, or Manchester City when handled by Pep Guardiola.

Please note, Ten Hag is a former assistant to Guardiola at Bayern Munich. There he got a lot of knowledge from the Spanish manager.
He did not avoid being called imitating the philosophy of the Spanish manager. That philosophy is what he built at Ajax Amsterdam today.
"I learned a lot from Guardiola. His philosophy is sensational," Ten Hag said in an interview, as reported by the Mirror.
"What he did at Barcelona, Bayern and now City, was the attacking style that brought him many victories. That's the structure I tried to implement at Ajax."
Guardiola is known as a manager who carries an attacking game. During his time at Barcelona, Bayern and now Manchester City, Guardiola adopted the tiki-taka style.
Although not exactly the same, Ajax's game does seem to be inspired by Guardiola's philosophy. Will Ten Hag implement it at Manchester United when elected later? Let's wait and see.
